34th Annual Jackson Snowmobile Hill Climb

It was the 34th annual Jackson Snowmobile Hill climb. The Hill climb was held on Snow King Mountain nestled on the edge of town. Spectators came from many states to watch racers attempt their chance at climbing the mountain.

Ice Oval Racing. Is it still around? Heck yeah! To me, this is the grass roots of snowmobile racing. It’s what I grew up on and followed. When I was a kid there was only one snowmobile race I could go to. It was ice oval racing at our local County Fairgrounds.

The Pink Ribbon Riders start out their fun run tour in Hill City, Minnesota where a record number of sledders (for the Minnesota run) gathered to help support them in raising funds for breast cancer survivors. It was a great time and a ride we recommend any snowmobiler take part in.
